"Wow, what a month... or two! Just wrapped my US and UK promotional tours. I'm buzzing with excitement... wish I could do it all over again!! But the work isn't over yet... though it's not work to me, I love it!!!
My wonderful journey of the last couple of months kicked off in San Fransisco. My manager and I met with a label rep from Jive, Beata. Love her! And so began my visits to the long list of radio stations in the U.S. of A. We went from San Fran to Sacramento to LA to Riverside to Palm Springs... and back to LA. Phew!! We were all over the place. Then from LA to Atlantic City for the "Promo Only" event, which is for radio DJs. I met so many DJs who have been supporting "Now I'm That Bitch" from the beginning, and I so appreciate them. I wouldn't be where I am without them! I performed in AC at the House of Blues and then the next day, we left for New York after saying our goodbyes to Beata. :( We'll miss her!!
Randy from my label met us in AC, and we drove in to NYC. It was good to be back in good ol' NYC... I love it there! So, what was I doing in the city? Yup, you guessed it! More radio visits. Jessie (from Jive) was with us this time... so sweet. :) She took us to the stations where I met with some fab DJs who are supporting the record. Had so much fun all the way! After a couple days in NYC, we headed out to Long Island and then back to New Jersey for KTU's Beatstock where I made an appearance and brought Mr. 305 (aka Pitbull) onstage. The crowd was HUGE and they were singing along with my song!! Special moment there for sure. :) Went to Jones Beach the next day for another Beatstock event where I met Cascada and The Backstreet Boys (who are also on Jive)... fabulosity! So amazing. Goodbye Jessie and Randy... thanx a bunch!!
